Product Distribution

Enhanced Controls

Distributing this component requires that you also distribute the component license file. These files must reside in the same directory as the component itself.

If you have purchased the retail version of Enhanced Controls component the license file will already be installed on your system.

By default AJE Component Controls are always installed to <commonfiles>\AJE Shared\Controls. Your distributions should install the components to the same location.

If you have installed the evaluation version of this component you have 5 days to use the product before it expires. Each time the component is used in Visual Basic you will be prompted for a license key. If you have purchased a license key then you can enter it to unlock the component at which point it will become a fully registered version and the License Manager will write a valid license file to the <commonfiles>\AJE Shared\Controls directory.

If no valid license file can be found, the component will continue to work during the evaluation period but you will be prompted for the license key each time it is used. If you intend to distribute this component with your applications then you will need a licensed version so the user never sees the license screen.

For a licensed version of the Enhanced Controls Component the files you need to distribute are: -

EnhControls.ocx - Enhanced Controls Component
EnhControls.lic - Component License File
